Resources Offered to the Public by Alliant International University

Alliant International University provides a wealth of resources to members of the public. These range from the volumes of the bricks-and-mortar Walter Library, part of Alliant's Scripps Ranch Campus, to the online resources of the Marshall Goldsmith Library - a growing collection of materials related to management, executive coaching and human resources topics.

In addition, our students also provide a variety of services to the public. These range from community service projects undertaken by our students to professional services developed as part of their academic programs. Because our approach to professional education emphasizes a carefully mentored process of building skills and judgement - a modern-day apprenticeship structure - that is undertaken side-by-side with academic study, many of our programs involve consulting projects and organizations. Some of these are detailed in this section of our website.

In addition, much research is carried on through organizations that are affiliated with Alliant. You will find links for many of these organizations at the top of this page and in the links below.

Psychological Service Centers Affiliated with the California School of Professional Psychology

CSPP's Psychological Service Centers (PSC) provide an integral part of the clinical psychology training program at Alliant International University. Clinical services are provided by practicum students and interns under the supervision of licensed clinical faculty. In Fresno, for example, students provide psychological services while receiving individual and group onsite supervision in a variety of areas including child/parent clinical cases, in-home geriatric clients, disability evaluation, juvenile probation assessments, child protective services, family court service child custody evaluation and hospital-based assessments.

Psychological Service Center programs may also provide services for the treatment of anxiety disorders, domestic violence and adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
