 Each school within Alliant has developed, or is developing, programs and affiliations that simultaneously enable students to gain hands-on skills within their professional area, enable faculty to remain actively involved in research and practice, and serve the communities in which Alliant resides. For example, the California School of Professional Psychology has for many years operated Psychological Service Centers (PSCs), neighborhood clinics that are charged with the mission of developing professional training, research, and consultation opportunities for CSPP faculty and students, while providing services to a variety of public/private agencies.
Similarly, within the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management, the GlobalMind Center provides state-of-the-art consultation and counseling services to international business and the Organizational Consulting Center offers expertise to businesses and organizations wrestling with organizational change. The field of education has traditionally demanded that teachers and principals gain field experience before becoming fully credentialled, and Alliant's Graduate School of Education partners with multiple schools and districts to provide similar opportunities to its students and service to the communities in which it operates. Altogether, Alliant offers a variety of consulting services that span the breadth of its educational offerings.
