GSOE Research Resources

True to its scholar-practitioner’s model, the Graduate School of Education (GSOE) is focused on producing and using research that is both practical and adaptable. Research done by both faculty members and students must be is derived from and adapted immediately by local school districts and colleges. The faculty members believe it is important that teachers be research driven. At both the master’s and doctoral level, students must demonstrate a strong capacity for research. Many students are developing curriculum and new programs for immediate implementation in their schools.

Internal Research Publication

At the founding of GSOE, Dr. Webb and her staff applied for and received a sizable federal allocation. This allocation was in part used to begin the Center for Applied Research in Education (CARE). This is one of the internal outlets for faculty and doctoral students to receive support and to publish their research. Another internal outlet for research is the online refereed journal called Cross-Cultural Transformation in Education.
